Town and Country Quilters host the Fest with a club challenge and examples of members work. Spot prizes and refreshments, and trade displays.
Open 9am to 4pm. Entry $5, children under 12 free.

Horowhenua District Rose Society has a “Hands On” rose pruning demonstration at the Cambridge Street Rose Gardens, opposite MacArthur Street, Levin at 1pm. If raining, Saturday 2 August.

Levin Little Theatre, Weraroa Road, Levin presents a nine-show season of Beyond a Joke, a comedy directed by Julian White.

Levin Performing Arts Society, Queen Street East, Levin presents a nine-show season of Blue Eyes featuring the songs of Frank Sinatra, and starring Darlene Mohekey. 8pm, with one matinee session on 17 August 2008 at 2pm.
