Financial Help Available for Organisations

Applications are now being invited from community organisations/groups for financial help from the Horowhenua District Council General Grants Fund for the 2009 funding year.

Funding is available to District organisations that are charitable, non-profit and dependent on community support.  Such groups must provide a community service free of charge and have no other source of funds or have limited revenuegenerating capacity.

The Local Events Marketing Grant Fund is also open for applications. These grants are available to local organisations to promote their event and attract more visitors to the District.

Applications for both funds close on Thursday, 31 July 2009 at 5pm. Late applications will not be accepted.
