Dog Licence Fees on a Leash

Dog registration fees and other charges relating to Animal Control in Horowhenua District have been held at the same level for the year starting 1 July 2009.

Fees are available by clicking on Animal Control Fees 2009/2010.

Dog-owners are advised that renewal notices for their dog registrations will be posted in the final week of June 2009 to the last address recorded on our registration database. If you have changed your address or no longer have your dog(s) please let us know. Dog registration fees are payable in full by 31 July 2009. Any registrations after this date incur a 50% late fee on top of the normal fee. If any dog-owner thinks they will have difficulty paying their fees on
time, please contact our Customer Service Centre now to discuss possible options.
