Council Pool Register

Council is currently updating its records in respect of private swimming pools in the District and encouraging all pool owners to register their pools.

Government legislation requires all pool owners to notify the Council of the existence of their pool and comply with the Fencing of Swimming Pools Act 1987 regardless of when the pool was installed.

The Council also has an obligation to ensure the Act is complied with within its District.
