Holben Reserve Gets a New Playground

A new playground and landscaping work at Holben Reserve, Foxton Beach, have now been completed.

The improvements were part of Council's Reserves Management Plan and Landscape Plan for the reserve that in recent years had included the construction of new toilets, bridges, walkways and native planting to complement the surrounding estuary area.

Parks Assets Officer Doug Tate said as well as a new playground, picnic tables had now been installed and the shade sail moved.

"The area is a real asset to the community and builds on the work already undertaken in the reserve" he said.
