So welcome to the very 1st edition of Vanguard... a magazine written by the youth, for the youth.

My name is Karleigh O’Connor and I am the grandly titled ‘Chairperson’ of Youth Voice.

Youth voice is a committee of young leaders selected to represent their age groups, schools and cultures. Basically that means that each college has both a junior and senior representative, there is a Maori and Pacific Island representative and also a youth representative who is out in the marketplace working.
