Renewal of Council's Maintenance Contracts

Council is to offer smaller maintenance contract work across the District for work starting 1 July 2010 which will allow local contractors the opportunity to tender.

All local contractors are invited to attend an information meeting in the Council Chambers on Monday, 30 November 2009, at 5.30pm to find out about the process of tendering and requirements to achieve this.

Services required include mowing of urban township areas, and district-wide rural berm mowing, tree maintenance, spraying, cemeteries, street lighting and road marking.
