Public Notice - Adoption of Decisions on Submissions on Plan Changes 20 & 21

PUBLIC NOTICE UNDER CLAUSE 10(3) OF THE FIRST SCHEDULE OF THE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT ACT 1991

Proposed Plan Change 20 – Rural Subdivision
Proposed Plan Change 21 – Greenbelt Residential & Urban Growth

Notice is hereby given that on 3 February 2010 the Horowhenua District Council, approved Proposed Plan Changes 20 and 21. Proposed Plan Change 20 relates to the management of subdivision in the rural environment. Proposed Plan Change 21 relates to the provision and management of urban growth areas. These plan changes, subject to any appeals, will amend the Operative Horowhenua District Plan.

Proposed Plan Change 20 affects the following sections of the District Plan:
- Introduction
- Section 2 – Issues, Objectives: Rural Environment
- Section 19 – Rules: Rural Environment
- Section 24A – Assessment Criteria (New Section)
- Schedules – Rural Subdivision Design Guide (New Schedule)
- Planning Maps – Maps 38 and 39 Landscape Domains (New Maps).

Proposed Plan Change 21 affects the following sections of the District Plan
- Introduction
- Sections 6, 14, 15, 21, 22, 25
- Sections 6A, 6B, 14A, 15A, 19A, 24A (New Sections)
- Schedule 7 Greenbelt Residential Subdivision Design Guide (New Schedule)
- Schedule 8 Structure Plans (New Schedule)
- Planning Maps
