Levin Road Closures - Levin Christmas Parade

Several Levin streets will be closed on Saturday 28 November 2009 between the hours of 4.00pm and 7.30pm for the annual Levin Christmas Street Parade.

The procession route is Victoria Street from the Levin Showgrounds, travelling north on Weraroa Road, then left into Trafalgar Street to Tiro Tiro Road. Left along Tiro Tiro Road returning back of the Showgrounds via entrance opposite Collingwood Street, Levin.

The following streets that will be closed to vehicular traffic throughout this time are:

- Weraroa Road at Stuckey Street and Queen Street West
- Tiro Tiro Road at Collingwood Street and Queen Street West
- Trafalgar Street at Weraroa Road and Tiro Tiro Road

The intersecting streets along the route that will be closed are:

- Bath Street at Weraroa Road
- Carlisle Street at Weraroa Road
- Clyde Street at Trafalgar Street
- Durham Street at Weraroa Road
- Forth Street at Tiro Tiro Road
- Grenville Street at Tiro Tiro Road
- Hannan Street at Weraroa Street
- Nelson Street at Queen Street West andTrafalgar Street
- Sussex Street at Victoria Street

There will be detour routes set up.

Please note that the parade route described may be closed before and remain closed outside the times advised.
