Christmas Sights and Sounds - Sunday, 29 November

The Levin Business Association along with the Horowhenua District Council and the Chronicle are hosting the Levin Christmas parade and Christmas Carol concert moved to Sunday 29 November (due to bad weather on Saturday) at the Horowhenua Showgrounds Park in Victoria Street Levin.  The Interchurch Group of Levin will be delighting the crowd with their Christmas carol concert after the official float prize giving in which Donna from MORE FM Horowhenua will be working as the Mistress of Ceremonies.

The two events include ingredients for a family focused fun occasion.  Entry is free and there will be various food stalls, ice cream, coffee, craft and amusement stalls including pony rides.  Winners of the Miss Horowhenua/ Kapiti will be in attendance.  Plus Santa will also be making a special appearance for a lollie scramble and to spend some time in the Christmas Grotto.  People are encouraged to bring their song sheets which have been printed in the Chronicle and their picnic blankets to relax and enjoy the carols.

All of the floats will be guided into the southern field (ground too wet in oval) so the public can have a closer look.
