Closure of Part of Plimmer Terrace (State Highway 57, Shannon) Between Its Intersections with Stafford Street and Ballance Street To Vehicular Traffic

PURSUANT to the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is hereby given that for the purpose of the Shannon Christmas Parade and Community Carnival Event the following road will be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period indicated hereunder.

During the period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the road.

Part of Plimmer Terrace, (State Highway 57, Shannon) between its intersection with Stafford Street and Ballance Street.

Period of closure:
Sunday, 13 December 2009 between the hours of 11.30am and 1.30pm.

Alternative provision for ordinary vehicular traffic:

An approved Traffic Management Plan will be in operation with signage and marshals.

It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person otherwise than under authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.
