North Manakau Road Bridge Reopened to Light Vehicles

The North Manakau Road  bridge has been reopened for light vehicles only this morning.
 
The situation with regard to heavy vehicles will be assessed later in the day. The weather forecast for the next three days does not represent any further threats to the situation and works are continuing to stabilise the banks under and on either side of the bridge.

Residents are presently being contacted with an update on the situation.
