Stock Control and Keeping of Poultry, Bees and Pigs Bylaw 2005

Council's Stock Control and Keeping of Poultry, Bees and Pigs Bylaw 2005 came info effect from 13 July 2005.

Purpose of the Bylaw

The purpose of this Bylaw is to make better provision for the control of stock, and the keeping of other animals within the District.

Note: At a meeting of Council on 2 July 2008 minor amendments were made to Clause 28 Poultry Keeping. The Bylaw has been updated accordingly.

Repeal and Savings

Horowhenua District Council's Animal Nuisance and the Keeping of Pigs, Poultry and Bees Bylaw 2014, adopted by Council on 5 November 2014, repeals clauses 27 to 29 (inclusive) of the Stock Control and Keeping of Poultry, Bees and Pigs Bylaw 2005, effective from 6 November 2014.
