Horowhenua District Council is proposing to set a range of fees to apply for:
- Food Premises that are subject to the Food Act 2014; and
- Resource Consenting (Planning) Services.
These proposed fees will apply for the 2017/18 financial year, commencing 1 July 2017.
Council resolved to consult on these fees at its ordinary meeting on 15 March 2017, using the Special Consultative Procedure as laid down in the Local Government Act 2002.

We're seeking your feedback on the proposed fees and are calling for submissions. Submissions on the proposal close at 5.00pm on Monday, 24 April 2017.

Submitters should advise whether they wish to be heard when submissions are considered. A meeting will be scheduled after the consultation period has closed. Submitters are advised that pursuant to the Local Government Act 2002 and subject to the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, all submissions shall be made available to the public.
